Payment and Cancellation Policies

Payment Policy:

 

  1. Payment Methods: Our travel company accepts payment via credit cards, debit cards, bank transfers, and cash. For credit card payments, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We do not accept personal checks.
  2. Payment Schedule: The payment schedule will vary depending on the type of travel package or service that you purchase. Typically, we require a deposit of 50% of the total cost to secure your reservation. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the departure date. If you book within 30 days of the departure date, we require full payment at the time of booking.
  3. Credit Card Authorization: For credit card payments, we require a signed credit card authorization form that authorizes us to charge your credit card for the amount due. This form will be provided to you upon booking. The credit card authorization form must be completed and returned to us within 24 hours of booking.
  4. Currency: All payments are to be made in the currency stated in the invoice. If you pay by credit card, the amount charged will be converted to the currency of your credit card issuer at the prevailing exchange rate at the time of the transaction. Please note that the exchange rate used may differ from the rate used by your credit card issuer and that you may be subject to additional fees and charges imposed by your credit card issuer.
  5. Late Payments: If payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation and charge a cancellation fee. Additionally, we may charge interest on any overdue payments at a rate of 2% per month. If your payment is declined for any reason, we will contact you to arrange for an alternative form of payment.
  6. Refunds: Refunds will be provided according to our cancellation policy (see below). Refunds will be processed within 14 days of the cancellation date.
  7. Group Bookings: If you are booking a travel package or service for a group of 10 or more travellers, special payment and cancellation terms may apply. Please contact us for more information.
  8. Price Changes: We reserve the right to adjust the price of our travel packages and services at any time. If the price of your reservation increases after you have made a deposit, we will honour the original price as long as you make your final payment within the required timeframe.
  9. Payment Security: Our payment system is secure and meets all PCI DSS compliance standards. We do not store your credit card information on our servers and all transactions are encrypted for your protection.
  10. Group Bookings: If you are booking a travel package or service for a group of 10 or more travellers, special payment and cancellation terms may apply. Please contact us for more information.

Cancellation Policy:

  1. Cancellation by the Traveller: If you need to cancel your reservation, you must notify us in writing as soon as possible. The cancellation fees will vary depending on the type of travel package or service that you purchase. Typically, the cancellation fees are as follows:
  • More than 30 days before departure: 50% of the total cost
  • Less than 30 days before departure: 100% of the total cost

If you cancel within 24 hours of booking, we will provide a full refund.

  1. Cancellation by the Travel Company: We reserve the right to cancel any travel package or service due to insufficient enrolment or for any other reason. In the event that we cancel your reservation, we will provide you with a full refund of all payments made to us. We will not be liable for any other expenses you may have incurred in relation to your travel plans, such as airfare or hotel bookings.
  2. Changes by the Traveller: If you need to make changes to your reservation, such as changing the dates or the number of travellers, we will do our best to accommodate your request. However, please note that changes may result in additional fees and charges. If you change your reservation within 30 days of the departure date, we may charge a fee of up to 10% of the total cost.
  3. Changes by the Travel Company: We reserve the right to make changes to your itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather conditions or changes in local laws and regulations. If we need to make changes to your itinerary, we will notify you as soon as possible and provide you with alternative options. If you are not satisfied with the alternative options, you may cancel your reservation and receive a full refund. We will notbe liable for any other expenses you may have incurred in relation to your travel plans, such as airfare or hotel bookings.
  4. Force Majeure: In the event of any natural disaster, war, civil unrest, terrorist attack, or other force majeure event, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule your travel package or service. If we need to cancel or reschedule your travel plans due to force majeure, we will provide you with alternative options. If you are not satisfied with the alternative options, you may cancel your reservation and receive a full refund. We will not be liable for any other expenses you may have incurred in relation to your travel plans, such as airfare or hotel bookings.
  5. Insurance: We strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance to protect yourself against any unforeseen circumstances, such as trip cancellation, trip interruption, medical emergencies, or lost luggage. We are not responsible for any expenses or losses that may occur as a result of your failure to purchase travel insurance.
  6. Refunds: Refunds will be provided according to the cancellation fees outlined above. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of the cancellation date.
  7. Non-Refundable Fees: Please note that certain fees and charges, such as non-refundable deposits and service fees, may be non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
  8. Miscellaneous: Any disputes arising from your reservation or travel plans will be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the reservation was made. Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably will be settled by arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The prevailing party in any arbitration will be entitled to recover its attorneys’ fees and costs.
  9. Travel Documents: It is your responsibility to ensure that you have all necessary travel documents, such as passports, visas, and vaccination certificates. If you are unable to travel due to missing or invalid travel documents, our cancellation policy will apply.
  10. Travel Advisories: We strongly recommend that you check for any travel advisories or warnings issued by your government or the destination country’s government before booking your travel plans. If a travel advisory or warning is issued after you have made your reservation, our cancellation policy will apply.
  11. Optional Activities: If you have booked optional activities or excursions through our travel company, the cancellation policies of the individual activity providers may apply. We will provide you with the cancellation policies of these providers upon request.
  12. Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance to protect yourself against any unforeseen circumstances, such as trip cancellation, trip interruption, medical emergencies, or lost luggage. We offer travel insurance through our partners and can provide you with more information upon request.
